The Environment Month, which is a period set up to raise the public's consciousness of the conservation of our planet, is honored. It leads to the need for green practices, conservation of natural resources, and the fight against climate change. In this period, communities and people in general reflect together about the impact of human activities on ecosystems and take the measure of promoting actions that provide for a healthier and greener future for all. The concept of such communal responsibility insists on this and every person takes it as a means to the attainment of the continuity of the life on the Earth that he/she wishes to. I'm doing my part to protect and care for the environment by taking the following actions: I focus on being more energy efficient at home by using energy-saving appliances and turning off lights when they're not needed. This not only helps reduce our energy consumption but also lowers our utility bills and minimizes our environmental impact.

National Teachers Month 2024 entitled “Together4Teachers” is a timely and meaningful celebration that renews the acknowledgment of educators’ contribution in influencing not only one’s personal life, but the society as a whole. They are not only lecturers but the teachers are the core of our society, the leaders and the guide of generations, the carrier of values, the bearers of knowledge, strength and character in learners. It is not just limited to providing knowledge, knowledge with the ability to determine the tone and potential for future leaders, innovators and citizens who would shape the future of our communities. Although their main objectives are teaching and passing knowledge, teachers still help students develop critical thinking, curiosity and help them overcome difficulties. Situated in the Pacific Ring of Fire and the typhoon-prone zone, the Philippines also experiences some comparable natural disasters on a daily basis. Speaking of this country is vulnerable to disaster, sad images of social networks regarding previous disasters in high-risk and impoverished and rapidly growing urbanization areas. These are more important than ever since such factors remain a persistent challenge to people and structures in various ways. To address these issues, the government has taken measures and formulated actions in cooperation with other related entities with the aim to build the Philippine resilience. These endeavors comprise of the country’s National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (NDRRMP) that harmonizes all the local actions, as well as advocacy of sustainable measures such as afforestation and relocation to safe structures and buildings. On April 22, 2009, a genius was born-or so I thought. His name is Jansen Lopez, and he currently lives in Pangpangdan, Sto. Domingo, Ilocos Sur. From an early age, he began learning how to count and read. His parents soon realized that their child had a talent for math, and Jansen dreamed of becoming an engineer. A few years later, I completed my studies at Cirilo Rabanal Elementary School. After graduating, I enrolled at Ilocos Sur National High School, where I was fortunate enough to be accepted into the Special Math Class. Now, I’m working hard, fully dedicated to achieving my dreams, all in hopes of giving my parents a better life. In conclusion, I’ve come to realize that I’m not a genius, just an ordinary boy who makes mistakes and doesn’t always get perfect test scores. This quarter, I gained a lot of knowledge about the internet, including its timeline, services, and tools. I also learned about the major components of the internet such as key pioneers in the Philippines and internationally, and the contributions of software pioneers and internet architects. Additionally, I explored the concept of blogs, including different types of blogs, the steps involved in creating a blog account, and the structure of a blog, among other related topics. One of the major challenges I encountered was analyzing the given documents or module for self-learning, as our teacher emphasized independent study. I also struggled with time management, as there were numerous tasks and projects to complete in other subjects, making it very difficult to balance everything.
